How to get from the airport to the city
Our modern stations are situated directly beneath the International T1 and Domestic T2 and T3 terminals. From Arrivals follow the Train signs to the lifts or escalators which take you down to our stations.
Tickets can be purchased to and from all stations in the CityRail network with a direct service between the City Circle stations (Central,Town Hall, Wynyard, Circular Quay, St James and Museum). You will need to change at Central to connect to the greater CityRail network. Lifts are available at the the city end (front of train) on platform 21 to assist passengers with luggage.
How to get to the Airport
Simply purchase a ticket at any CityRail station to either international or domestic stations. If you're in the city, catch the train from any of the City Circle Stations (Town Hall, Wynyard, Circular Quay, St James or Museum) direct to the Airport via Green Square and Mascot. There’s also a direct service south to Campbelltown and Macarthur along the East Hills Line. All services depart from platform 23 at Central Station. Lifts are available at the city end of the platform.
Ticketing
Airport Link tickets can be purchased at any Airport Link or City Rail station. There are ticket vending machines at each station which are quick and easy to use and save you queuing at the ticket windows. View ticket information here.
